Party Studio ("we," "our," or "us") values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices when you use the Party Studio mobile application and related services (the "Service").
Information We Collect
We collect only the information necessary to operate Party Studio, process purchases, and improve reliability.
Information you provide
- Account information: Authentication identifiers (such as app-specific user IDs from Apple Sign In, Google Sign In, or email/password). Email address, display name, and profile image are optional and may not be provided for all accounts.
- Content you create or upload: Prompts, generated party designs, images, text, and any files you choose to upload or save.
- Support communications: Information you choose to provide when contacting support through the in-app support form, including an email address if you wish to receive a reply.
If you include personal details (such as a child's name) in content you create, that information is provided voluntarily by you for the purpose of generating party materials.
Information collected automatically
- Usage and diagnostics data: App interactions, feature usage, screen views, session timing, and error or crash information.
- Device information: Device type, operating system version, app version, and general region or country derived from IP address.
- Purchase and entitlement data: Token balances, purchase status, and subscription or entitlement state.
We do not collect precise location data, contacts, advertising identifiers, or sensitive personal information.
Apple Sign In and Other Authentication Methods
Party Studio supports signing in with Apple, Google, or email and password.
- When you sign in with Apple, we receive an app-specific user identifier used to authenticate your account.
- Providing an email address when using Apple Sign In is optional and not required to use the app.
- We do not request access to contacts, calendars, or other personal data through Apple Sign In.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide core app functionality, including saving content and managing accounts.
- Process purchases, token balances, and subscriptions.
- Monitor app stability, performance, and errors.
- Prevent fraud or abuse.
- Respond to support requests and communicate important service-related updates.
We do not sell personal information and do not use your content to train public or third-party AI models.
Analytics and Diagnostics (PostHog)
We use PostHog to collect limited analytics and diagnostics data to understand how the app is used and to improve performance and reliability.
- PostHog is used only for product analytics and error monitoring.
- Analytics data is not used for advertising.
- We do not enable cross-app, cross-site, or third-party tracking.
- We do not use PostHog to track users across apps or companies.
- Data collected through PostHog is linked to app usage and technical identifiers only as needed for analytics and debugging.
If our use of analytics changes in a way that requires user consent or system permissions, we will update this policy and the app experience accordingly.
Support Requests
If you contact us through the in-app support form, the information you submit (such as your message and an email address, if provided) is sent to us via a third-party form processing service so that we can respond.
- Submitting a support request is optional and initiated by you.
- Email addresses provided for support are used only to reply to your request.
- Support information is not used for advertising or analytics.
Third-Party Service Providers
We use trusted third-party providers to operate the Service:
- Supabase – authentication, database, and file storage.
- RevenueCat – in-app purchases, subscriptions, and entitlement management.
- PostHog – product analytics and error monitoring.
- Infrastructure and support tools – cloud hosting, logging, and third-party form processing services used for customer support.
These providers process information only on our behalf and only as necessary to provide their services.
Data Retention
- Account data is retained while your account is active.
- Content you create or upload is stored until you delete it or request account deletion.
- Purchase and transaction records may be retained as required for legal, tax, or accounting obligations.
- Analytics and diagnostic data are retained for a limited period and then deleted or anonymized.
- Backup copies may persist briefly before permanent deletion.
Your Rights and Choices
You may:
- Access or update your account information.
- Request a copy of your personal data.
- Request deletion of your account and associated content.
To request access to or deletion of your data, you may submit a request through the in-app support form. Requests are handled by our team and processed in accordance with applicable law.
Security
We use industry-standard safeguards, including encrypted connections and access controls, to protect your information. While no system is perfectly secure, we work to minimize risk and restrict access to personal data.
International Data Transfers
Your information may be processed or stored in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards to protect your data.
Children's Privacy
Party Studio is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 (or under 16 where applicable). Any information about children included in content is provided by a parent or guardian for creative purposes only.
If you believe we have collected personal information directly from a child, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date and, if changes are material, provide notice within the app or by email.
